Business Process

Daily NOS Reports were available earlier in place, but it was happening during the Month End. The business team need to wait until the month end to get the NOS reports which was a barrier for many decision making scenarios. So the Estimated daily Nos reports are developed to do NOS calculations on daily basis with the Forecast data available which will be acting as an estimate for the Month End NOS, which helped the business to do reporting on a daily basis.

 

Work Responsibilities

·   Designed an End to End Extraction and Modelling Flow to bring data from various Source Systems to BW and created a Simplified End User Report in BW.

·   The Simplified report in BW is structure based reporting based on various accounts in the Structure against several Measures in the Columns.

·   Complex Business Calculations were built in these reports which eases the End user manual calculations.

·   Checked the existing setup and identifying the impacts on BW objects used in the existing flow.

·   Designed the auto flow without affecting the existing flow and its report used by top level management of the client.

·   Extensive experience in support, Data loads, Validation and trouble shooting of transaction data and Master data, Change management, Transport Management, Roles & Security, System Checks, Performance tuning and process chains. Analyzed and documented the Impact during testing with BW system.

Business Process

Financial Management reporting is the key top management high profile report which had various forecast and actuals related metrics which drives key business decisions. The Forecasters used to forecast the data in a Non-BW system and the same was brought in to BW in near real time within 4 hours and is available for the End Users in the BW Dashboard.             

 

Work Responsibilities

·   Worked as Project Lead for the Project for the past 18 Months leading the team from Onsite @ P&G, Cincinnati.

·   Worked on customized complex business financial logic with respect to the Financial Management Reporting & implemented the same successfully in the BW system.

·   Designed fully Automated Solution for the real time data acquisition from the Forecast One Oracle Source System to the BW System.

·   Worked on End to End Designing of Automation of Process chains via various customized ABAP programs, Analysis Process Designer (APD), Preparing Technical Specifications for the ABAP developments based on the functional requirements adhering to the Quality process and standards.
